Visitors to the quaint Texas town discover a town full of history and architecture, as well as festivals and other art events. The Shiner Country Inn’s owners want to share all of the cultural destinations that our town has to offer.
We worked hard to make sure our footprint on the earth is a light one. We encourage our guests to use their towels and linens more than one day – a practice that conserves precious water and energy resources. All of our cleaning supplies and bath amenities are phosphate-free, a choice that helps prevent contamination of our precious water resources. We are also working to reduce the amount of packaging that is sent to landfills by using refillable bath amenities instead of tiny disposable containers.Green is not a gimmick here. We went out of our way to preserve the dramatic oaks on our property. These oaks are a key element of the Texas ecosystem and also provide much-appreciated shade for our Shiner Inn outdoor entertainment space.
